Indonesia, Malaysia Cooperate to Eradicate Corruption

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) paid a visit to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) yesterday to affirm cooperation between the two anti-graft agencies.
The SPRM chief Djulkifli Ahmad said that both will enhance cooperation in addressing transnational graft cases, particularly those involving money trail between the two countries.
“We will establish cooperation between KPK and SPRM to handle issues between the two nations,” Dzulkifli said.
Dzulkifli said that the KPK has long established cooperation with the SPRM.
KPK chief Agus Rahardjo said that his office has welcomed the effort to strengthen the cooperation. “We will cooperate in future activities and daily operations,” he said.
