TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Mango Souffle is made from fresh, ripe mangoes, eggs and gelatin. Mango Souffle is a light, smooth and refreshing dessert.


Mango Souffle is a classic French dessert. This dessert beautifully combines the sweetness and freshness of the mango in a soft souffle texture. This dessert is most delicious when served cold.


Below is the method and ingredients of how to make a Mango Souffle, adopted from the Boldsky website.



Ingredients:


100 grams of sugar


3 eggs


150 ml of cream


2 tablespoons of gelatin


100 grams of mango, sliced into cubes


100 grams of mango puree


2 tablespoons of lemon juice



Directions


1. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Set aside


2. Soak the gelatin with ½ cup of water


3. Add sugar to the egg yolks and beat until there is a light and creamy consistency.


4. Place the container with water on low heat.


5. Place the mango puree and yolk mixture in the container and keep stirring. This creates the custard for the souffle.


6. When the custard is warm, add the soaked gelatin and stir it resembles layer. Remove from heat.


7. Add lemon juice and leave it to cool.


8. Beat the egg whites until stiff.


9. Beat the cream so that it reaches a thick consistency, leave a little cream for the decoration process. Mix the rest of the cream into the custard in folding motions. Then fold in the egg whites.


10. Pour the completed dessert into a bowl or glass. Decorate with cream or mangoes.


11. Place it in the refrigerator to set and cool.


12. Serve
