Terrorism, among others, will be a major talking point. “The President will be the keynote speaker in the session,” the Presidential Secretariat spokesman Bey Machmudi said.

In the economic sector, President Jokowi will express his concern over tax evasion. The government expects G20 member states to push for an inclusive, sustainable and equitable economy.

“On the sidelines of the summit, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with leaders of friendly countries. That includes the President of the United States Donald Trump,” Bey said.

Jokowi’s entourage includes the First Lady Iriana, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) chairman Thomas Lembong.
