TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II officially launched Indonesia Airports application today coinciding with National Awakening Day. This moment is particularly chosen under the spirit of the awakening of Indonesian airports by means of digital technology innovation in order to compete against other world-class airports.

PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that in performing a digital transformation, the company emphasizes three bases namely customer experience, effectiveness and efficiency in the operating system and business model.

“Indonesia is a country with a proper information technology infrastructure and it should be taken into good use by airport managers to apply digital technology to support services and offer added values to every airport in this country,” Awaluddin said on Saturday, May 20.

Indonesia Airports App is specially designed to help customers in order to effectively spend their time in Angkasa Pura II airports. It serves to ease and aid customers in their journey (pre-journey, on a journey, post-journey). This app has been downloaded by more than 15,000 Android users and 2,305 iOS users.
