Tomini Bay Prepared to be National Strategic Area

"Interlocal government have declared a joint cooperation in Green Investment Meeting (GIM) in Gorontalo," Samsurizal said in Palu (15/4).
He explained that the event held in Pentadio Resort of Gorontalo district on Friday (14/4) was attended by heads of local government from areas around Tomini Bay and of three provinces namely Central Sulawesi, North Sulawesi and Gorontalo.
The declaration contained six points. It covers encouraging the implementation of investment cooperation in the form of Tomini Bay cooperation forum, strengthening green investment, developing investment in various main local sectors of fishery, agriculture, transportation, sea ecotourism, the development of interconnected and integrated harbours in Tomini Bay areas, and propping up Tomini Bay area as anational strategic area in the field of green investment.
