TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Manager of the popular idol group JKT48 Inao Jiro, has committed suicide at his house located in Pondok Aren on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Jiro's body was discovered hanging in the bathroom by his wife and helper.

Head of South Tangerang Police public relations, Commissioner Mansuri suspects that work pressure is the main reason why Jiro had committed suicide

"The temporary motive is suspected to be caused by heavy work pressure as the general manager for JKT48," Mansuri said on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.

Meanwhile, South Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Director Adj. Comr. Alexander cannot yet confirm whether that is the actual reason behind the suicide because the Police are yet to question the victim's family.

"We can't confirm yet since [Jiro's] family are still in shock," Alexander said.

Before he committed suicide, Inao Jiro had just picked up his children from school. Jiro later locked himself in his room. Jiro's wife and domestic helper decided to break into the room after receiving no answers from Jiro, and discovered his body hanging in the bathroom.
