TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A brawl between two groups of teens erupted in Setiamekar village, Tambun Selatan district, Bekasi regency on Sunday (26/11).
At least one teen was killed after in the incident after he was stabbed in the chest.
Spokesperson of Tambung Sector Police Inspector One Tri Mulyono said that the incident began when a group of teens from Rawaaren passed by Kedunggede village at around 1 am.
"Teens from Rawaaren village then met with teens from Tegalgede village," Tri said, adding that the groups were then involved in an argument and Rawaaren teens told teens from Kedunggede to wait.
Not long afterwards, dozens of teens from Rawaaren came with weapons.
"Then a brawl occurred,” Tri said.
In the incident, Yusuf Ardiansyah (24) died on the sport and shortly after wards, the brawl could be contained by the residents and the police.
