Jakarta Prepares Rp66 Billion to Secure Regional Election

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Provincial Government prepares Rp66 billion for 2017 regional election security. The budget is proposed in 2016 City Budget Amendment.


Jakarta National and Political Unity Office (Kesbangpol) Head, Ratiyono, said the budget will be disbursed to City Police and Kodam Jaya.


“Rp45 billion for City Police and Rp21 billion for Kodam Jaya,” he said, Tuesday (9/27).


Ratiyono requests for Home Ministry mentoring regarding the budget determination. It is because the city budget amendment is being discussed with City Council.


Jakarta Provincial Government will also disburse budget for General Election Commission (KPU) Rp478 billion and General Election Supervision Body (Bawaslu) Rp98 billion.
