Djarot Requests Private College to Prepare Scholarship

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat has requested private college in the capital to prepare scholarship for students with Jakarta Smart Card (KJP).


One of the colleges is Bunda Mulia University. It is hoped the university is able to assist students in Seribu Island.


According to him, top students in Seribu Island can be recruited to join in tourism diplomatics program.


“I hope the students in Seribu Island can get proper program for their future. But I want scholarship program to be also prepared,” he said, Tuesday (8/9).


Djarot hoped UBM is also able to prepare quota for low-economic students in Seribu Island.


“Through scholarship program, they have hope to continue their education, improve their life, and develop Seribu Island,” he closed.
