5 Seaports in NTT to be Developed as Tourism Seaports

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - As many as five seaports in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) seaport are will be developed into tourism seaports in the province. The development will be done by improving their infrastructures.
"There are five seaports that will be developed as tourism seaports by improving their infrastructures,” said President Director of PT. Pelindo III (state-owned port operator) Orias Moedak on Sunday (19/6).
Those five seaports in question are Kalabahi, Waingapu, Ende, Maumere, and Pelabuhan Tenau Kupang.
Orias added that in those seaports, PT Pelindo II would among others prepare facilities for international yachts to dock in.
The development will begin this year, he added.
