TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Who wouldn’t fall for a pizza? The yummy round flatbread is always tempting most of hungry belly with variety of toppings and mozzarella melts on it. Among restaurants offering different pizza innovation, Beni Ahmad, the chef of Aston Braga Hotel comes with Triple Dekker Pizza, a three-layered pizza that has different flavor on each of its layers.
“Yes, we have three-layered pizza here. Each of the layers has different flavors but we make sure that these flavors would blend well once it is munched. Another thing that distinct this pizza from the other is that we put tortilla as the top-most topping so it will give crunchy sensation when it is bitten,” Beni said.
As it is made in an American-data-style pizza, the bread is made not too thick. The first layer is filled with spinach sauce while the second layer is filled with tomato sauce, mushroom and meat. Teriyaki sauce and chicken slices are chosen to be put on the third slice.
Why these three sauce variants?
“Spinach, tomato, chicken and these sauce variants are chosen to keep the flavor blend well on the palate. We also put mozzarella cheese on each layer to make it melt on the mouth. The flavors blend well,” Beni assured.
