Rasiyo-Lucy Pair Confident to Beat Surabaya Mayor in Election

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Electoral Commission (KPU) of Surabaya announced that Mayor candidate Rasiyo and his deputy Lucy Kurniasari have met the requirements for election. The pair will compete against the current Surabaya Mayor Tri Rismaharini pairing with Wisnu Sakti Buana.

"We will fight to win the throne in the remaining time we have," said Lucy on Thursday September 24. "We will put on a fight against them in the Regional Election on December 9."

Moreover, she expects that the upcoming election will be exceptionally well. She expects that public can trust Rasiyo-Lucy to lead Surabaya.

"We will try to meet and greet public as often as we can," she said, in the attempt to gain support.
