TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - Siloam Hospital Group plans to build 50 clinics to accommodate BPJS patients, according to Siloam Hospital Group director anf corporate secretary S. Budisuharto.

These clinics will serve BPJS patients from clinics that refer them to Siloam Hospital.

According to Budi, the clinics are prioritized in 20 cities that already have Siloam Hospitals, such as Jakarta, Banten, Medan and eastern Indonesia.

For clinics in Tangerang and Banten, Budi said, will be operated in the near future. “The locations are in Mauk and along Jalan Raya Serang to Cilegon,” he said.

Every clinic will have doctors and nurses that provide public health services. There are no inpatient and delivery facilities in the clinics because they are only for basic services.

Investment for the clinics is predicted to reach Rp500-600 million per clinic. Budi said the clinics are built because Siloam wants to help BPJS. “We are prepared for that,” Budi said.
