Jasa Marga Recorded Rp 670.03 billion Net Profit

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) posted a net profit in the first half 2015 in the amount of Rp 670.03 billion, down 17.44 percent compared to the same period the previous year at Rp 811.59 billion.


Jasa Marga Tbk financial report to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday, July 30, 2015 said net profit result is in line with the performance of Jasa Marga's revenue that dropped to Rp 4.09 trillion in the first half of 2015, compared to the same period last year at Rp 4.48 trillion.


The report said the company's operating income declined following construction revenues in the first half of 2015 slowing down to Rp 455.22 billion, lower than the same period last year at Rp 1.05 trillion. Other operating income accounts, also recorded a drop to Rp 229.13 billion.


While JSMR toll post revenue recorded an increase to Rp 3.41 trillion, compared to the first half 2014 at Rp 3.17 trillion.


Jasa Marga asset position in the first half of 2015, increased to Rp 32.67 trillion, up about 2.57 percent compared to the December 31, 2014 position which amounted to Rp 31.85 trillion.


Meanwhile, JSMR corporate secretary Mohammad Sofyan in his official statement explained that with the acquisition of Solo-Ngawi, Ngawi-Kertosono and Cinere-Serpong toll roads along 187 km, then company’s concession is at 1,000 km.


This year the company also has operated the Gempol-Pandaan toll road at 13.6 km in June 2015. The company is targeting the new operation of two toll roads in East Java (Gempol-Pasuruan, Gempol—Rembang, Surabaya-Mojokerto and Krian-Mojokerto sections) so that the overall increase in length of toll road operations by the end of 2015 is approximately 46 km.
