TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) gave "reasonable with exception" rating for Jakarta administration's 2014 financial report, which was the same with the rating given in 2013, BPK Member Moerhamadi Soeja Djanegara said during a city council's plenary session in Jakarta on Monday, July 6, 2015.

According to Moerhamadi, the rating was given because the BPK found several irregularities in the budget spending, including messy asset census and programs without complete financial reports.

Moerhamadi added that the BPK found a land procurement project in West Jakarta, which was considered as highly expensive.

"The land procurement was not conducted through a proper procurement process so the price could be too expensive," Moerhamadi said.

Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama said that he was not satisfied with the results. According to Ahok, Jakarta administration's budget management should be rated as "reasonable without exceptions."

Ahok admitted that he had prepared measures to improve the financial report, such as recruiting BPK staff to be assigned at the city's Financial and Asset Management Body (BPKAD). In addition, Ahok also asked the city's financial report to be compiled with an actual accounting system.

"Officials would no longer be able to manipulate receipts," Ahok said.
