Jumat, 3 Juli 2015 10:02 WIB
TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, plans to legalize illegal taxis that have been operating in the vicinity of the airport for quite a long time. Responding to the plan, Sr. Comm. Muhammad Iqbal, Chief of Public Relation at the Metro Jaya Police said that the plan could be carried out if the airport management issues a policy.
However, Iqbal said that the policy must be in accordance with existing regulation.
Based on Metro Jaya Police record, there are 700 illegal taxis operating in Soekarno-Hatta Airport. These taxis will be allowed to operate using private registration plate after being fitted with a special sticker to distinguish the taxis with private vehicles.
