Eka Tjipta Aims at Rp11.4b Net Profit for 2015

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Publicly-listed wood glue manufacturer PT Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk. (DPNS), owned by business tycoon Eka Tjipta Widjaja, aims at a net profit of Rp11.43 billion this year—lower by 31.9 percent compared to the Rp16.79 billion in 2014.


According to the company’s information at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) revealed Friday, June 19, 2015, DPNS had pocketed a net profit of Rp7.34 billion till March 31, 2015, or 64 percent of the total target this year.


For 2015, DPNS pegged its total revenue target at Rp120.29—lower than in 2014 at Rp132.77 billion. In the year’s first quarter, DPNS garnered Rp37.18 billion.


As for its gross profit, DPNS targets Rp24.63 billion, decreasing from Rp33.86 billion in 2014, with a current year profit projected to reach Rp11.43 billion—lower than Rp16.79 billion in 2014.


In the first quarter of 2015, DPBS recorded a net profit of Rp37.18 billion, or higher than last year’s Rp29.73 billion. The company’s net profit soared to Rp7.09 billion from that in the same period last year at Rp3.8 billion.


DPNS, presently spearheaded by Siang Hadi Widjaja, boasts a total asset of Rp282.9 billion until March 31, 2015—rising from Rp268.87 billion last year, while its liabilities climbed to Rp40.36 billion from Rp32.79 billion, and its equities jumped to Rp242.54 billion from Rp236.08 billion.
