TEMPO.CO, Bandung - The trial match against Malaysia tomorrow in Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, will be the final stance for the players to be included in the Indonesian U-23 squad for the SEA Games sport event.
“The match will help consider who will be picked for SEA Games Singapore,” said coach assistant Muhammad Zein Al-Hadad.
“Malaysia is also ready and wanting to play against us. I think it is beneficial for both nations,” he said. Malaysia will also play in SEA Games 2015, yet under different group.
“We have had normal preparation, no problem,” said Zein. “It is all done and we are now waiting for the game day.”
In SEA Games, Aji Santoso’s boys will be pitched in Group A, alongside host nation Singapore, as well as Myanmar, Kamboja, and Philippine. Indonesia will have its first premier SEA Games match against Myanmar on June 2.
