Sports Minister Announces PSSI Transition Team Members

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Youth and Sport Minister Imam Nahrawi officially announced members of transition team that takes charge over the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) that was frozen on April 17. The most-awaited announcement was made at the Ministry’s Media Center, Jakarta, on Friday, May 9.


“The team will perform reformation on football management. We have even prepared a tagline ‘Indonesia Calling’,” Imam Nahwari said at the beginning of his speech.


The transition team is consisting of 17 members who will gather net week to discuss blue print of Indonesian football.


“The team will further be aided by technical team. We give full authority to the transition team to form the technical team,” said Minister Imam Nahrawi.


Below are the names of transition team members formed by the Sport Ministry:


1. F.X. Hadi Rudyatmo, Mayor of Solo


2. Loedwijk Paulus, Ex- Bukit Barisan Milltary Commander


3. Ridwan Kamil, Bandung Mayor


4. Eddy Rumpoko, Batu Mayor


5. Ricky Yakobi, former national football player


6. Bibit Samad Rianto, former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chief


7. Darmin Nasution, former Governor of the Bank of Indonesia


8. Ceppy T. Wartono


9. Tommy Kurniawan


10. Iwan Rukminto


11. Francis Wanandi, Gold Gym CEO


12. Saut H. Sirait


13. Andrew Darwis


14. Farid Husaini


15. Zuhairi Misrawi, public figure from Islamic Organization Nadhalatul Uema


16. Dias Faizal Malik Hendropriyono, son of former State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Chief, Hendropriyono
