Sea World Getting Ready to Open in End of March

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sea World underwater rides in Taman Impian Jaya Ancol (Jaya Ancol Dream Park), North Jakarta is ready to be re-opened after being closed down since September 2014 due to an agreement dispute.


Corporate Communication Manager PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Metty Yan Harahap said, Jakartans and neighborhood citizen could enjoy the beauty of underwater in Sea World by the end of this March.


“We have reviewed the financial report and calculated the asset value too. It is hoped Sea World could be officially re-operated this month ,” Mety said on Friday.


Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department (Disparbud) welcomed this rides to be re-opened.


“We are glad if Sea World is back in operation, it will add tourism destination site in the city,” Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept-Head, Purba Hutapea revealed.


Even so, his party is ready to socialize and promote the favorite tourism site in the Jaya Ancol Dream Park. “We'll promote it for sure right after the ride is re-opened," he promised.
