TEMPO.CO, South Tangerang Mohammad Akbar Dirgantoro alias Ilham, 20, has gone missing since December 19, 2014. The 11th grade student of a school for children with special needs in Bintaro, South Tangerang, went missing on the day the school distributed report cards.

“We’ve been looking everywhere, but there has been no sign of him,” Ilham’s mother Suryani, 44, told Tempo on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Suryani said Ilham was autistic and verbally-challenged.

She said Ilham left his home on December 19, 2015 at night after finishing his homework. “He just received his report card, and he got much homework from the school,” she said.

Suryani said on the night Ilham vanished she helped him do his homework. “He has been missing ever since,” she said.

Suryani said she was ignorant of any possible cause of his son’s disappearance. She lodged a report with the Serpong Police on December 20, 2014.
