The Jakarta Smart Card (Kartu Jakarta Pintar / KJP).
TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The Jakarta government has prepared Rp 2.2 trillion for the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) program that will be initiated in 2015. The fund is 50 percent higher compared to last year's Rp 790 billion.
Arie Budiman,, Chief of the Jakarta Education Agency, said that there will be more requirements that must be fulfilled by KJP recipients. "Students must be well-behaved," he said on Monday, January 12, 2015.
He said that the additional requirements were proposed directly by Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama. "[Ahok] doesn't want students who smoke, like to pick fights, and are undisciplined, to receive KJP," Arie said.
