Jokowi, Ahok to Attend East Nusa Tenggara's 56th Anniversary

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo will attend the 56th anniversary of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) in Kupang on Saturday, December 20.
“Aside from those three government officials, ten ambassadors will also be participating in the event,” NTT’s Regional Secretary Fransiskus Salem said on Monday, December 15.
According to Fransiskus, Jokowi will witness the cooperation signing between East Nusa Tenggara, Jakarta, along with Central Java over the matters of livestock and fishery.
Jokowi is also scheduled to conduct the laying of the first stone for the Raknamo Reservoir development in Kupang District and to inaugurate Siloam Hospital in Kupang City. Jokowi will also be handing the DIPA 2015 fiscal year,” Fransiskus said.
To overcome the clean water issue in NTT, Governor Frans Lebu Raya will also convey his plan to build a reservoir in NTT that have been submitted to the central government, such as Temef and Jawakisa Resorvoirs, which will become two biggest reservoirs in NTT.
