Honda CBR 150R Sales Exceeds Target

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Astra Honda Motor Indonesia has recorded the sales of the All-New Honda CBR 150R motorcycle of 5,053 units on October 2014. The number exceeded its quota, which is 4,200 units.


According to General Manager Sales Division Astra Honda, Thomas Wijaya, since the September 2014 launch, the All-New Honda CBR 150R had sold 4,412 units. This occured during the midst of a sluggish motorcycle market in general.


Thomas claimed that the high sales of the All-New Honda CBR 150R is caused by the Astra Honda’s ability to present a product that is match perfectly to the Indonesian people’s characters and interests, especially in the motor sport segment. “This bike is able to give its owner pride,” Thomas said.


The All-New Honda CBR 150R is priced at Rp28.5 million in Jakarta and Tangerang, while the New Repsol Edition variant is priced at Rp29.1 million.


The All-New Honda CBR 150R has a 150cc 4-stroke engine. Its DOHC (double overhead camshaft) has 4-valves with 6-speed transmission. Its output is 12.6 KW (kilowatt) @ 10,500 RPM and 13.0 NM of torque @ 7,500 RPM. Its also claimed fuel efficient and friendly environment due to its Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) and a EURO 3 emission standard.
