TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Depok administration is installing new traffic lights at Juanda-Sentosa Raya intersection, Depok.

“There are four traffic signs to be completed this year, one of them is at the Juanda-Sentosa Raya intersection,” Ari Manggala, Traffic Division head at the Depok Transportation Agency, said on Saturday, November 1, 2014.

Jalan Juanda is often congested with passing vehicles from Jalan Raya Bogor due to lack of traffic signs. Most vehicles head to Jalan Sentosa via Jalan M. Yusuf.

“The turning vehicles often cause traffic jams, particularly on holidays,” Ari said.

Before the traffic lights installed, officers have opened Jalan Juanda median since two weeks ago. Vehicles passing Jalan Margonda Raya to Cijago toll gate can directly turn to Jalan M. Yusuf.

Ari added, there would be three more traffic lights to be installed at Pengasingan, Bojongsari and Gandul intersections.
