TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Wayne Rooney will likely to play for the Red Devils in Manchester Derby this Sunday despite previously rumored to suffer from an injury.
Rooney’s availability for the derby will be a great start for United, especially that Rooney, among other players, has scored the most against the blue Manchester.
Rooney has booked 11 goals in 22 Manchester Derby. His closest contender is former Manchester City player Joe Hayes with 10 goals against United.
Rooney has just finished his three-match ban due to the red card he was booked in September. The skipper, who has found the net three times this season, was out of the squad when United played a 1-1 draw with league runner Chelsea.
