TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - LG’s mainstay smartphone, the G3 LTE version, will finally be available in Indonesia by the end of October at the latest. LG puts a price tag on the G3, that has the ability to run on a long-term evolution network, at Rp7.5 million. The price is a litter higher than the LG G3 with Rp6.99 million at the beginning of the launch.
The G3 LTE version only has a 4-month-gap release from the regular G3 and LG has a reason for it. "Many people asked why the LG G3 LTE version like the one available in Korea isn't available in Indonesia. Well, the arrival is based on demands," Adinda Nesvia, Head of Product Marketing of LG Mobile Communications Indonesia, said in a launching event yesterday.
In terms of appearance, the LG G3 LTE is not far different from the LG G3. It is actually hard to spot the difference between the two. Then what is the advantage of the G3 LTE? Other than being able to run on 4G LTE network, the device is packed with 3GB RAM (up by 1GB compared to its predecessor). Internal memory is also boosted from 16 to 32GB.
As for other specs, the 4G LTE is not so much different from its predecessor. A screen size of 5.5 inches is still maintained with thin bezel and a Quad HD 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution. It uses a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and a 3,000mAh-battery capacity. The main camera is equipped with 13MP with laser beam technology.
