TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted most regions in Indonesia will be entering the rainy season on October.
“Compared to the climate characteristic during the past 30 years, the start of rainy season 2014/2015 is predicted to be delayed,” said BMKG Head Andi Eka Sakya in Jakarta on Friday.
The delayed rainy season, according to Andi is also influenced by the delayed El Nino. El Nino was predicted to hit Indonesia on August but the phenomenon has yet to come up to today.
