Prabowo's Legal Team Claims Allegations are not True

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Secretary General of the Functional Group Party (Golkar) Idrus Marham, said that the Merah Putih coalition trusts its legal team more than its former campaign team Mahfud Md. "Mahfud is done," said Idrus.
Idrus denied Mahfud's allegation that said that Prabowo has been driven misguided persons around him. Idrus said that Mahfud's duty is done and the request for judicial review on the election result that has been submitted to the Constitutional Court is the task of legal team. Moreover he claimed that the coalition has a credible and qualified legal team. "This legal team knows facts, and they are going to appeal before the court," he said. "If the team said that [the appeal] is not proper, we would not proceed. It is proper, and we believe in facts," he added.
Previously, Mahfud Md said that Prabowo-Hatta's team has no valid data and that the survey institutes that declared Prabowo-Hatta as victors of the election were not credible. Mahfud believed that a number of people around Prabowo have "whispered" the notion that there has been massive violation done by his adversary. Mahfud added that the "whisperer" urged Prabowo to call for justice.
