TEMPO.CO, Kendari - The General Election Commision of Kendari in Southeast Sulawesi, held a plenary meeting to recapitulate the presidential election votes on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. The results showed that the Joko "Jokowi" Widodo-Jusuf "JK" Kalla pair gained a total of 80,645 votes, or equals to 52.58 percent.
Meanwhile, the Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa pair managed to gain 72,705 votes, or equals to 47.42 percent. Jokowi-JK won in seven out of ten electoral districts in Kendari, namely Abeli, Baruga, Mandonga, Kendari, Kdia, West Kendari and Kambu.
During the plenary meeting, all chiefs of each District Polling Committee read the results of the presidential votes in their respective areas. The meeting will be continued at the provincial level, which is scheduled to be held on July 18 to July 19, 2014.
