TEMPO.CO, Speilberg – Nico Rosberg is sitting strongly in the 2014 Formula 1 standings after winning the Austria Grand Prix in Red Bull Ring circuit, Speilberg, Austria, on Sunday June 22 2014, with a time of 1 hour 27 minutes and 54.976 seconds. Rosberg dominated the standings by collecting 165 points.

With the victory, Rosberg has won his third championship trophy in the 2014 race season. He won the two previous trophies in the first session in Australia in mid March, and the sixth series in Monaco last May.

Rosberg’s teammate, Louis Hamilton, is still in second in the standings with a total of 136 points.

Hamilton, who started from seventh place, managed to finish second in the Austria Grand Prix with a time gap of 1.9 seconds from Rosberg.

Massa, who started from pole position, must be satisfied with finishing fourth. He sits ninth in the standings with 30 points.

The next race, which will be the ninth series, will be held in Silverstone Circuit, England, July 4-6. There are 19 series in this 2014 race and the domination of Mercedes team hasn’t been budged.
