TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The determination of Hadi Poernomo, former Director General of Tax and current Chief of the Supreme Audit Agency as suspect in an alleged tax evasion case, is predicted to affect Bank Central Asia (BCA) stock value. "BCA press conference scheduled this afternoon will put pressure on BCA stocks in the future," said Kiswoyo Adi Joe, stock and rupiah analyst from Investa Saran Mandiri on Tuesday, April 22 2014.

On Monday, April 22 2014, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) named Hadi as a suspect of manipulating BCA's income tax during his time as the Director General of Tax during the 2002 to 2004 period.

According to Kiswoyo, the case will certainly affect the bank, which is now owned by Djarum Group. However, he said that development of the case depends on BCA itself. If the bank decided to continue the case, its stock prices will inevitably receive negative impacts.
