TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - LeBron James performed admirably during Miami Heat game against Charlotte Bobcats at the American Airlines Arena on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. He successfully scored 61 points in the game, setting the highest achievement record in his career, as reported by Reuters.
Heat won 124-107 against its visitor and extended their winning streak to eight games in NBA. James was voted as the MVP of the game.
James achievement set a new record as the top scorer in Miami Heat's history. Earlier, Glen Rice scored 56 points for Heat in a game against Orlando Magic. The record survived for 19 years until James broke it several hours ago.
But James' achievement this season could not surpass Carmelo Antohony's, who scored 62 points for New York Knicks in January, while the record of 100 points scored in an NBA game by the legendary Wilt Chamberlain remains unbreakable since 1962.
