NBA to Extend Court Size, Apply 4-point Shot Regulation

TEMPO.CO, New York - The National Basketball Association (NBA) is exploring the discourse of expanding basketball court dimension and four-point shot. NBA vice president Kiki VanDeWeghe acknowledged it is to accommodate the growing size and increased the athleticism of players.
As for the four-point shot, NBA President Rod Thornd said such regulation will be applied when the court has been extended. However, VanDeWeghe mentioned it remains a discourse and is yet to be realized, considering it will require major renovation throughout the states.
NBA spokesman, Tim Frank, responded that Thornd dan VanDeWeghe's statement were not official statements by NBA. Frank said his bosses were trying to entertain the public over crazy idea in basketball. Currently, NBA official court is 28.5x15 meters, around 2-meter wider and longer than the standard size of International Basketball Federation.
