TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - 'The Lego Movie' can be a good option to spend the weekend with the whole family. The animation film tells the story of Emmet Brickwoski, an ordinary construction worker in Lego world who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key in saving the world.

Emmet is soon drawn into an epic journey when Vitruvius, the elder of the 'Specials' believe a prophecy that says Emmet is one of the Master Builders able to construct any kind of building without having to rely on manuals instructions. Although Emmet himself starts to believe that he is special, he finally found out that the prophecy was just a story made up by Vitruvius.

Eventhough the "everyone-is-special" message that the movie is trying to deliver has been presented in many other movies, 'The Lego Movie' offers a stop-motion animation data-style where the Lego characters move in a clunky movements. The film is also filled with fresh jokes that will trigger the audiences' laughter during its 100-minute duration.

Even Batman, Wonder Woman, and many other superheroes joined in the fun. Hollywood stars such as Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, and Channing Tatumwere involved in the movie as voice over artists.
