TEMPO.CO, Vatican - Despite the fact that Velentine's day is often linked to paganism, Pope Francis has expressed his openness in celebrating the day. Mail Online reported that the Pope invited some couples to join him for Valentine.
The invitation, entitled as 'The Joy of Yes Forever' resembles the kind of pre-marriage counsel in Catholic Church. Pope Francis intended to invite some couples to have a chat over marriage issues in Vatican, right on Valentine's day.
Pope Francis' invitation, despite receiving heavy critics, helped him establish the image of modern church leader. The Time's Person of the Year 2013 last week also hit the news headline as he baptized a child from an unmarried couple.
