TEMPO.CO, Roma - Indonesian nationality international football player Radja Nainggolan made an impressive debut with AS Roma at the Olympico stadium, earning him a pat in the back from helmsman Rudi Garcia. The French tactician mentioned that Nainggolan helps provide more options in his midfield area.
Wearing jersey number 44, Nainggolan was set as one of the starting eleven when Roma took on Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia top 16 match. The Belgian-Indonesian midfielder was there when Roma took the lead early in the match and qualifies for the quarter-final.
"Nainggolan can play in any midfield role. With him there we can play with Miralem Pjanic in a more advanced position and Francesco Totti as trequartista, said Garcia as cited by Football Italia.
