Batu Municipality Promotes International Agro Tourism Village

TEMPO.CO, Batu - Batu Mayor Batu Eddy Rumpoko has officially named Sumber Brantas village in Bumiaji sub-district as an international tourism village. The concept will be for this village to be an agro village tourism destination by highlighting farming businesses with the theme "My Farm, My Journey" with locals that have cultivated vegetables and flowers.


In order to be able to communicate with international tourists, villagers will be taught how to speak English to help them welcome foreigners.


"It will take four years to prepare for this," said Eddy on Thursday.
