BNN Lost Hundreds of Files

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of Public Relations of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Sr. Comr. Sumirat Dwiyanto, said that the BNN had lost hundreds of files after Police Comr. Albert Dedi, member of the National Police (Polri), broke into its administrations office.
"From the testimony of BNN's Deputy of Drug Eradication division, Benny Mamoto, there are two bundles of documents missing, each containing 125 files," Dwiyanto told a press conference at the Polri Headquarters, Wednesday, July 10.
According to him, the missing files from the administration office usually contain travel documents and other activities conducted by BNN.
On Thursday, July 4, Albert Dedi broke into BNN's office building in Cawang, Jakarta. Albert is now suspected of stealing BNN's files.
