Google Plans to Launch an Android Game Center

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Games have been the most-downloaded application by smartphone users. As a response to this condition, Apple has launched the Apple Game Center almost 2,5 years ago.


Following Apple's success in launching their game center, Google plans to do the same thing by launching an Android game center.


Although the details on the games and features have not been released, it is believed that the android game center will incorporate the following features:

1. Game invites. For now, it seems that the invite system is pretty closely tied to Google+.
2. Matchmaking
3. Save syncing (to maintain game saves between devices and installs)
4. In-Game chat
5. Achievements
6. Leaderboards
