TEMPO.CO, California – Artifacts and remnants of the Apollo 11 flight to the moon will be put up for auction this month. One of the goods that will be auctioned is Neil Arsmtrong’s electrocardiogram (ECG) when he set his foot on the moon for the first time.

“The electrocardiogram of the Apollo 11 commander is an important piece of history,” said the spokesperson of RR Auction, one of United States’ auction bureau.

Vice President of RR Auction Bobby Livingston, stated that a lot of people are not aware of what Armstrong felt when he first landed.

“This is about the life and death of the mission, and understanding what Armstrong felt during the landing will be an amazing discovery of what the human body is able to endure.”

Other items will be auctioned along with the ECG, including the ‘joystick’ used by Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins during the first lunar landing mission, a moon map, equipment, and countless autographs and photos.

Most of the items would be the private collections of the astronauts themselves. The auction is scheduled to be held on May 16 to May 23.
