TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Police HQ’s investigating team has identified the fingerprints belonging to the attackers of Cebongan Penitentiary in Sleman, Yogyakarta.

National Police HQ’s criminal detectives division director Comr. Gen. Sutarman ensured that all fingerprints have been extracted from the crime scene.

“Of course we have extracted all [fingerprints], including from immovable objects and lifted objects,” said Sutarman at the police HQ on Thursday, April 4. “Fingerprints are a technical aspect,” he added.

A Tempo source said that not all attackers wore gloves so there is a possibility that some of them left their fingerprints.
