TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: China's cloud computing giant Inspur Group Co. Ltd. today (Thursday 3/5) announced its plan to tap into the Indonesian market by cooperating with local distributor TREND Communications International. The expansion is in line with Indonesia's growing potential of the cloud computing market."We believe that we can be one of Indonesia's top three major suppliers of information technology hardware within the next decade," Inspurtrend's CEO and Founder Werner Noz said in Jakarta.Noz said Indonesia is one of the Inspur's top market priorities. Indonesia's advancing domestic businesses will automatically boost demand for information technology. Meanwhile, there is little rivalry between companies engaged in the hardware business and cloud computing solutions."Currently there are only a handful of players in Indonesia's hardware business. Having said that, we believe there is still room for new players," he said.Inspur did not specify the investment value allotted to expand in Indonesia, nor its intended market share. In China, Inspur has had the largest share of the server market for 16 years. The company's brand has dominated the domestic storage service industry for 18 consecutive years.PINGIT ARIA
