TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:A day before he departs for London, England,President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono summoned several ministers in charge of political, legal, and security affairs to the Palace. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, National Police Chief General Timur Pradopo, Indonesian Military Commander Admiral Agus Suhartono, and Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights Denny Indrayana were seen rushing into Merdeka Palace at 2 pm. The meeting lasted for several hours.Presidential spokesperson, Julian Aldrin Pasha, claimed he did not know the agenda of the meeting. "I was in another meeting outside (preparing for the London trip). Right now I'm trying to find out what the meeting was about," he said at the State Palace parking lot.Based on information obtained by journalists at that time, the President summoned the ministers in connection with security preparations ahead of the presidential trip to London after the arrest of 11 terror suspects from the Harakah Sunni Movement for the Indonesian Society (Hasmi) and the civil suit filed by the National Police Traffic Unit against the Corruption Eradication Commission.ARYANI KRISTANTI
