TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Solo Safari is set to introduce a fresh experience for visitors with the debut of its Safari Night Adventure program. Launching on March 21, 2026, the initiative allows tourists to explore the wildlife park after dark, observing animal behaviors that differ vastly from their daytime routines within a more serene natural environment.

Miyana Harikna, General Manager of Solo Safari, stated that the Safari Night Adventure offers a unique educational journey. Visitors can witness nocturnal activities and learn about animal habits rarely seen during the day.

"Visitors can observe animals' activities at night and gain education about their habits," Miyana told reporters in Solo on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Educational and Conservation Journey

Miyana explained that the Safari Night Adventure transcends mere entertainment; the program is designed to provide a new perspective while fostering an understanding of wildlife and conservation. "In addition to seeing nocturnal animals, visitors also learn about their behavior and conservation," she said.

With the introduction of this program, Solo Safari aims to enhance a safe, educational, and enjoyable tourism experience for families and children. As a new attraction, it broadens the scope for tourists to connect with nature and gain insights into the animal kingdom at night. "We want to provide a fun, educational, and Instagrammable experience," Miyana added.

Ticket Details and Scheduling

The Safari Night Adventure is scheduled for every Saturday and Sunday, starting at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available both at the Solo Safari physical ticket booth and online via the official website. Premium tickets are priced at Rp70,000 per person and include a buggy car ride, while regular tickets for a walking tour cost Rp50,000.

"We aim for a minimum of 3,000 visitors per day during the Eid holiday, which is double our usual numbers," Miyana noted.

Holiday Favorites in Solo

Meanwhile, Maretha Dinar Cahyono, Head of the Solo Department of Culture and Tourism, noted that tourist numbers in Solo typically surge during the Eid holiday. Several iconic spots remain top priorities for travelers, including the Keraton, Mangkunegaran, Solo Safari, and Taman Balekambang.

"Favorite places in Solo are still centered around the Keraton, Mangkunegaran, Solo Safari, and Taman Balekambang," Maretha said.
