TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Low-cost carrier Indonesia AirAsia offers a 15 percent discount on all seats and all flights on international routes in commemoration of its 15th award as the best LCC at the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
"Tickets can be booked from June 25 to 30, with a flight period from July 8, 2024, to March 20, 2025," President Director of Indonesia AirAsia Veranita Yosephine Sinaga said in a written statement on Tuesday, June 25.
According to Veranita, would-be passengers can get plane tickets starting from Rp0 (base fare) to Cairns, Australia, and Rp1 (base fare) to Singapore. "For other international routes, you can get a more economical fare with a 15 percent discount," she said.
Ticket reservations can be made directly via the AirAsia MOVE application (formerly AirAsia Superapp) or the airasia.com website.
Veranita said that the latest award in 2024 thanks to a number of the airline’s achievements, such as the expansion of international routes in the ASEAN region and Australia through the opening of the newest routes Jakarta-Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, and Denpasar-Cairns, Australia.
Indonesia AirAsia also serves four unique direct flights: Denpasar-Lampung; Jakarta-Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; Jakarta-Kuching, Malaysia; and Denpasar-Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
"This proves Indonesia AirAsia's commitment to facilitating passenger connectivity from one destination to another," said Veranita.
She added that Indonesia AirAsia will further expand on international routes in 2024. "This is one of Indonesia AirAsia's strategic steps to spread its wings not only in the ASEAN region and Australia, but will also expand to new destinations in Asia, namely India, China, and Timor Leste," she concluded.
