1. 10 Countries with the Highest Number of Airplane Accidents, Canada and Indonesia on the List

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Recently, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash on the borders of Azerbaijan. Not long after, two other aviation incidents were recorded where a Tecnam P2006T plane belonging to the Indonesia Flying Club crashed in the BSD City area, Tangerang, and Singapore Airlines made an emergency landing after severe turbulence.

The National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) reported 21 airplane accidents throughout 2023 in Indonesia, an increase of 5 percent compared to the previous year.

2. Turkish President Erdogan Likens Netanyahu to Hitler for Denying Attack on Rafah

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, May 27, denounced Israel's attack on Rafah, a region previously designated as a ‘safe area’ for Palestinian people. “Sunday's attack on Rafah, which came after the International Court of Justice's order, has exposed the treacherous and bloody nature of the terror state,” Erdogan said in Istanbul as reported by Anadolu.

He was referring to the International Court of Justice's (ICJ) order to Israel to stop the bloodshed. He also lambasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for Israel's genocide of Rafah residents.

3. Top 10 Countries with Most Effective Civil Service Performance, Canada Ranked 3rd
