The statement follows reports from Israeli media that Indonesia has agreed to normalize relations, in exchange for Israel's approval of its membership in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

Dhoho Airport in Kediri, East Java is set to commence its inaugural flight on Friday, April 5. Low-cost carrier Citilink will be the first airline to serve round-trip flights from Jakarta to Kediri.

Istata T. Siddharta, President Director of PT Surya Dhoho Investama (SDHI) – a subsidiary of PT Gudang Garam which constructed Dhoho Airport, said that Citilink's inaugural flight on the Jakarta-Kediri-Jakarta route will be conducted using an A320 CEO aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers.
