TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said PT KCIC is working with Indomaret to provide a wide selection of food and beverages during Whoosh trips as a service improvement to welcome the 2024 Eid homecoming season.

"Starting April 2024, the dining car on all Whoosh trips can be enjoyed by passengers. This service will provide a new experience for passengers who seek to enjoy food and beverages at 350 km/hour speed," Eva said in her written statement on Monday, April 8, 2024.

According to Eva, passengers are welcome to go directly to car number five or the middle train to purchase the food. There are two Whoosh staff ready to help the passengers in the car.

The Whoosh dining car provides a variety of heavy and light meals as well as hot and cold beverages that passengers can order. Not only food, passengers can also buy various other necessities, such as medicines, tissues, and other personal needs. Whoosh also provides a menu book in each seat’s pocket for the passengers to read.

However, Eva said, Whoosh currently only offers cash transactions. Cashless transactions will be developed later with KCIC’s partners.

"KCIC hopes that the presence of this dining car will provide a more comfortable travel experience for Whoosh passengers," Eva concluded.
