TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto revealed that President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has approved an additional 14 National Strategic Projects (PSN) this year. All of the projects will be financed by the private sector.

Airlangga made the statement after a cabinet meeting on the 2024 PSN at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Monday, March 18. These 14 new projects are included in the nomenclature adjustments and scope changes to existing projects.

“These have been approved by the President,” Airlangga said. However, the Golkar Party chairman refrained from specifying the estimated cost of the projects.

Previously at a media briefing in Jakarta on February 7, Deputy for Regional Development and Spatial Planning at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Wahyu Utomo, said that the government aims for 41 strategic projects to be completed by 2024.
